Jayco’s new editions bolstering RV Trends!

Komo News reports- One sure sign that the economy is doing well, is to look at the recreational vehicle industry. New numbers just released by the industry this week show a record 9 million RVs on the road in the United States. More than 340,000 RVs shipped to dealers in 2015 and that number's forecasted to rise through 2017.

According to RVbusiness.com- the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) recently released its December and year-end wholesale shipment numbers, indicating that Jayco Inc. outpaced the industry in shipment growth in nearly every category in which it competes.

Jayco has definitely learned to adapt to these growing trends while still holding its integrity and vision. You see it all through Jayco’s recent designs; computer nooks, comfortable living spaces, wireless options, navigation systems and port stations for all your latest tech gear.

DIY RV named three Jaycos in their top 8 best RV’s for 2015. Jayco is definitely leading the industry and 2015 was an incredible year!

"You know RV is basically an enabler. It allows you to do what you like to do outdoors better," said Dave Helgeson, director of the Seattle RV Show.

We are just finishing up the Seattle RV Show and the response was amazing! This is the biggest show of the year and it gets bigger every year while the consumer draw gets younger and younger.

"You would be amazed at the number of younger people who have said forget the corporate job, you know think about it today, you have the internet, you've got WiFi you've got the cell phone; you've got every convenience you have at home that's portable," -Chuck Woodbury

Jayco is at the forefront with its ear bent to its customers.

Jayco's EcoAdvantage staying committed to being Green!

Last April Jayco announced to continue their commitment to the EcoAdvantage program which reduces waste, conserves energy, water and to build more Eco friendly RV’s.
All three operating divisions of Jayco inc., Jayco, Entegra and Starcraft have had impressive results since starting the EcoAdvantage program.
Here are the results:
They saved enough electricity to power 10,932 homes for a year. Jayco saved enough landfill space to accommodate a year’s worth of trash for 163,839 Americans. Lastly, they conserved enough gas for 138.9 trips around the earth (in a car).
Recycling is nothing new to Jayco. It has been recycling since the early 1980’s and today Jayco’s Green manufacturing practices has saved trees, water and fuel.

In addition to these numbers, Jayco’s green manufacturing practices saved trees, water and fuel. And while the program began in 2011, Jayco has been working toward using fewer renewable resources in its manufacturing processes for much longer. In fact, Jayco’s recycling program has been active since the early 1980s, and even received a Governor’s Award of Excellence in 1991.

Wilbur Bontrager, Jayco chairman said “Jayco has been committed to protecting the environment for years, long before we put a name to our efforts,”. “We strive to continue to lead the charge in our industry, and no matter how far we come, we’re committed to ongoing efforts. It’s all with the end goal of allowing families to enjoy the great outdoors for generations to come.”

JAYCO: A Family legacy with Amish hearts and hands.

Amish-craftsman
In the endearing rural lands of Middlebury Indiana, a family started what was to become a legacy. In 1968 Lloyd and Bertha Bontrager created their first camper inside the small confounds of their two chicken houses. Soon that one camper became an innovative line that would become the nation’s largest family owned RV manufacturer. From the beginning, Lloyd longed to create a family company; one that would build products to bring families closer together. Their passion was to treat everyone like family from dealers, to buyers to suppliers. Today three generations of Bontragers tell their story.

gallery_picture_3489[1]   Given the Mennonite heritage of the Bontragers, many Amish families have added to the success of JAYCO. Generations of Amish craftsmanship has given JAYCO the edge in creating what is now the best-selling RV in the nation. Lloyd Bontrager lived by the simple rule “Do unto other as you would have them do unto you”. This rule still guides the JAYCO family business. Lloyd believed in running an upright and honest business with hard working employees who practiced the same ideals. Bertha Bontrager said “We’re the same company with the same values that started in a Farmhouse”.

To this day, living up to JAYCO's great name is foremost at JAYCO.
